Hey. I believe an introduction is in order before I start documenting my struggle with social media.
I am forty-something years old. After working my arse off for the past 20 odd years I am now rediscovering old hobbies, predominantly music, reading, photography, and travel.
I have also discovered YouTube and other social networks which I have shied away from till now. These have revolutionized the way I waste my time.
In a desperate effort to start a side hustle I decided to learn the difference between a hashtag and the @ symbol. I am giving this social media thing a try. The goal is to attempt to make a modest living out of an online presence.
Follow me as I update you on how I suck fare at this endeavor. I will share with you as much of the details, the mistakes, and the inevitable follies as I can.
My goal is to post at least once a week with my progress. I am committing to two years of this online tomfoolery before deciding if to call it quits.
Check in every now and again and to find if I will succeed in launching an online empire that will stand the test of time.
